Liquid Browser - Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Data Controller
This Privacy Policy explains how Liquid Browser (the “App”) handles information when you use its browsing, news, short-video, AI, file-management, weather and device-tool features. The App is provided by Our Team (“we”, “us” or “our”). 2. Information We Handle
Browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, site data and browser preferences are generally stored locally on your device. Private browsing does not save the session’s local browsing history. If you consent to browsing analytics, the App may report a website’s registrable domain (rather than its full browsing history) and related browsing-event parameters to analytics services, including during private browsing. If you refuse or withdraw this consent, we do not send these domain and browsing-event reports going forward. A domain can reveal information about interests and may constitute personal data. Third-party SDKs may process technical device and app information, IP address, permitted advertising identifiers, diagnostics, usage events and ad-related information. Our own feature servers are not designed to collect or store personally identifiable browsing or file contents; this does not prevent third-party SDK providers or visited websites from processing personal data as described here. If you contact us, we process the information you voluntarily provide.
3. Permissions and On-Device Features
Microphone access is used for user-initiated voice search; speech recognition may be supplied by Android or another provider. Camera access is used for QR/barcode scanning. Optional floating-window and notification permissions support quick tools and alerts. With your authorization, notification-listener access helps manage notifications from other apps locally; notification contents are not sent to our servers for advertising. Storage access enables user-initiated file viewing and cleanup. Phone Check, battery information, running-process management, notification cleanup, network-speed tools and clearing local browsing data are principally performed on the device. The App may report feature-operation outcomes (for example, success or failure) as analytics events, subject to applicable privacy choices. Denying optional permissions may disable the relevant feature but does not prevent use of unrelated features.
4. Web, News, AI and Weather Services
When you open websites, use search, view third-party news or short videos, or open an AI-related website or assistant feature, the relevant external provider may receive requests and process information under its own privacy notice. News and short-video content may be delivered through third-party APIs; related content URLs/IDs and usage events may be processed where permitted. Weather content may use an approximate location inferred from IP rather than precise device-location permission. Do not enter sensitive information into external websites or AI services unless you understand the provider's practices. We do not represent external websites as being under our control.
5. Advertising, Analytics and SDK Partners
The App is advertising-supported. Depending on the released version and regional configuration, advertising and mediation partners may include Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, BIGO Ads, Liftoff Monetize (Vungle), Mintegral, Unity Ads and Pangle. Analytics and technical services may include Firebase and Sensors Analytics. These providers may process IP addresses, app and device information, advertising identifiers where permitted, advertisement requests, impressions, clicks, diagnostics and app events. They may act as service providers or independent data controllers according to the service. We do not provide the contents of personal files, notifications, microphone recordings or camera scans to advertising partners for ad targeting. 6. Your Consent and Advertising Choices
For users in the European Economic Area and other regions where applicable, we use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising consent choices. Where the App provides a Privacy Choices control, you may use it to review or change the relevant settings. Browsing-domain and browsing-event analytics are separate consent-dependent processing: these reports are not sent if you refuse consent and stop being sent after you withdraw it, including in private browsing. For users in Brazil, there is not currently a separate Brazil-specific advertising consent screen. Advertising processing in Brazil remains subject to applicable LGPD requirements, and you may contact us to exercise your rights or object to processing where applicable. Disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent limited processing needed to deliver ads, maintain security, measure basic performance or prevent fraud where legally permitted.
7. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process information as necessary to provide functions you request, remember local preferences, handle support requests, maintain App security, diagnose errors, assess reliability and support the App through advertising. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases vary by purpose: consent for optional browsing-event analytics and activities requiring advertising consent; performance of a requested service where necessary; legitimate interests in proportionate security, fraud prevention and service reliability, subject to your rights; and compliance with applicable legal duties. Where Brazil’s LGPD applies, processing is based on the legal grounds available for each relevant purpose, including consent when required by law. Installing or using the App alone is not treated as consent to optional browsing analytics.
8. Retention and Security
Browsing records and settings stored locally remain on your device until you clear them, remove the App or the operating system otherwise removes them. For information under our control, retention depends on the purpose and is limited to the period reasonably necessary for service operation, responding to requests, resolving issues, security, reporting or legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized as appropriate. We do not apply a single fixed retention period to every category of operational information. Third-party service providers may apply their own retention periods under their published policies. We use reasonable technical and organizational security measures, but no system or transmission method is completely secure.
9. International Transfers
Our contact address is in Pakistan, and some analytics, advertising, content and technical providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Such processing may involve international transfers. Where GDPR or LGPD transfer requirements apply, the transfer must be supported by an applicable legal mechanism or permitted exception, as required by law. We do not state that any particular contractual transfer safeguard has been adopted unless it has been established.
10. Disclosure and Independent Third Parties
Information may be disclosed to advertising, measurement, analytics, hosting, diagnostics or support providers to the extent necessary and legally permitted; to competent authorities when required by law; or in a business reorganization subject to applicable protections. We do not sell personal information for direct monetary payment. This statement does not mean that advertising-related disclosures never constitute “sharing” or other regulated processing under applicable law. Independent websites, search engines, content suppliers and voice-recognition services may operate under their own policies.
11. Rights for EEA Users
If GDPR applies to you, subject to legal conditions and exceptions, you may request access to, correction or erasure of, or restriction of processing of your personal data; request portability where applicable; object to qualifying processing; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We may request reasonable information to verify a request. You can manage permissions and remove local browsing data directly on your device.
12. Rights for Users in Brazil
If Brazil’s LGPD applies to you, and subject to its conditions and exceptions, you may request confirmation that your data is processed, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or unlawfully processed data, portability where applicable, information about sharing, information about the possibility and consequences of refusing consent, and withdrawal of consent. You may also request review or pursue remedies where provided by law and submit a complaint to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) under applicable procedures. 13. Children
The App is not designed for children below the minimum age applicable to the service in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal data without an applicable lawful basis or required parental authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, providers, practices or legal requirements. The updated version will display a revised effective date, and significant changes will be communicated where required.
